PRESIDENTS MESSAGE

Just want to let every one know what is happening this year with our new organization.

AWDF: Myself and Ann Marie Chaffin (director of judges) attended the AWDF annual meeting held in Indianapolis the end of May. Our presentation let everyone know we were moving forward with our organization and we were voted in as full members.!! We were the only club voted in, the others stayed as guest status. So we are excited about that.

BST: The AWBRTA has put together a BST (breed suitability Test) for the Black Russian Terrier. Looking at what was done in Russia and what we have here we came up with our own. I have attached it for those who want to look it over.

Judges College: The Weekend of August 7th the AWBRTA will be hosting its first Seminar/Judges College to license Judges to be able to Judge the BST working phase only. We have tried to make if very affordable for people to come. As we need people to Judge this. We will use a FCI judge to judge the conformation phase of the test.

Pedigree database: The AWBRTA has purchased a pedgree database and we will now be able to register dogs to keep track of their titles owners ect. This was a big step in moving us forward.

Website. We have had some trouble getting our website up but we now have somthing up as basic as it is for those to link to. We will continue to grow our website and make changes and hopefully find a webmaster to take it over.

I hope you all continue to support the AWBRTA and we will continue to grow and show what this great breed was bred to do.
