We took the puppy to an outdoor cafe so that I didn't have to cook after two long days at our club's soccer tournament. The girls who are so used to getting all the attention were a little jealous of Visa's monopolizing everyone who passed by from year old toddlers to senior citizens. i was so grate...

We were on our way to soccer camp today and spotted a big curly dog with a happy face. Although he was similar in a lot of ways to a BRT, he lacked the temperament. He was too friendly and approachable and really just not black enough. Ha-ha. But we could see why a lot of people might confuse our do...

My big girl is so loving! She thinks that she's a lap dog and wants to be held all the time. You can't move a foot without her getting up and moving a foot too. We thought that she wasn't the protective kind of BRT because she is just so happy! Boy were we wrong. On Sunday, I was enjoying a wonderfu...

Visa loves to sit this way. Is it because we have stone stairs and they cool her posterior in a special way? Or also common with carpeted stairs too? It's crazy looking!

And more importantly, you can't see how cute football players are because they are wearing too much gear! AND in futbol even the refs are in great shape! ha-ha

I am having WC withdrawal. I watched every game live or recorded. My older daughter plays club and my Little cousin has gone to the NCAA finals twice, but lost to UNC both times. She is on the US U-23 National Team and we are hoping she'll move up to play next year's Women's World Cup in Germany. We...

It has been burning up in most other areas in the US, but here it has been gloomy, rainy and cold. Today is the first sunny day since the 4th! We are used to 85 degrees at the beach and we've been stuck in the low 70s. It's getting a little warmer by the day except the wind is kicking up. Visa loves...

We enrolled Visa in an intensive socialization class titled, "July 4th Gone Wild." Yesterday, Patrick and I invited our extended family to the beach near our house. Usually, we go to Los Angeles or invite everyone over here. But this year, we didn't want the fuss at the house so we decided...

Upon returning from Costco, I put away the groceries and broke down the box that the milk came in. Visa was next to me when I stood on the box. Although I am a dainty morsel (lol), I caused quite the noise and Visa backed away in fear. I was so tired and not in the mood for training, but since I hav...

We had such fun meeting you too! Visa is a happy girl when I pull out the travel crate! She doesn't associate it with anything but fun trips like we had meeting you. Visa was dogtired too and slept all the way home. The next day though she was crazy dog! I think that seeing her cousins made her so e...

I hope that all is well. Most of the time, UTIs are painful, but sometimes they are not. So hopefully, she wasn't in too much pain. We have stayed away from dog parks since my old dog contracted a nasty cold. Too much can be passed from dog to dog. And with the expense of vets these days... who need...

We live on a hill above a church. Today my mother stayed with Rhea and Visa while Patrick and I took Emiko to play three soccer matches...they won all three! When I returned, my mother remarked that Visa had been barking at something in the corner of the backyard. She thought it might have been a co...
