I have to say though, Vik has never fought me, so I'm not experienced in wriggling mass of scared BRT. 8) I am becoming an experienced mastiff wrangler, and if he weren't so damned sweet, and good looking, I might hol... |

| Vijay, At least when you get him to a walk on scale, he'll calmly walk and sit down on it........ I say this because you had to have seen me and my husband take our boerboele pup to the vet and get him to step on a scale. Cause you know, once you start, you've got to finish. So there's this lovely v... |

| I have the "How to raise your pup 8 wks to 8 months" and although my pups are two years and 16 months I reveiw them to remind myself of all the wonderful info in the DVD. I might try asking on the Leergurg site or ebay. This was a new and invaluable resource for me so I won't let it go yet... |

Awww my poor dogs only get to chase geese. LOL I also tend to bend my knees a little bit when the "pack" comes running. That way, I hope for an easier fall...... My mastiff is getting to that age too.....BRT are easier to train through the period of trigger guardyness... |

| Great news. I'm glad that you are moving forward. I train a leave it command that I use in O SH*T moments. For me, "leave it" means, don't even look at it! AND I PRAY. LOL Just kidding, but these moments are teaching moments, so now you know what Sasha is willing to do at this moment. Hele... |

My Vik is PERFECT!!!!! Am I a loving Mom or what? He goes as long as I want and flops down to sleep when we are done. Pretty ideal. yes, he has moments where he puts on his "Lords of Leaping" hat, but right now he is concentrating on gaining bulk. |

LOL Michelle. You're right. I get great results when I cheer for Vik and jump up and down and do the happy dance. He really appreciates the happy dance. |

| Timing sounds about right. Vik expressed himself around the 8 month mark. Sasha seems like she is having insecurity generated actions. Maybe she needs MORE positive reinforcement when she is calm and behaving well. As for guests, put her in the crate until your guest has come in, greeted you, and sa... |
